As a final project for a Bachelor of Design degree at Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE), I designed pictograms to identify train stations in the South Line expansion of Metrô do Recife (MetroRec), Brazil.

The objective was to maintain the existing system's standards by researching, analyzing, and adapting the visual language to the new stations.

The project was implemented in MetroRec's visual communication system and received the Gastão de Holanda prize from UFPE and an honorable mention from the Monograph Award of CBTU - the Brazilian Company of Urban Trains.
